If you don’t know how to set boundaries:

-people will make you feel guilty about your life choices- i.e. how you spend your time, what you decide not to do, how you bring up your kids, the fact you don’t want to have kids, etc.

-you will end up doing things you don’t want to do and end up beating yourself up for it

-you will be ticking off things of somebody else’s agenda and important to you tasks will not get done

-you will be getting angry and frustrated and your self- esteem will shrink

Use the following formula for setting and upholding boundaries
Your emotion
The other person’s exact behaviour
Your expectation
